1. How to request deletion
From the app
Open Calendify, go to Profile and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm.
Without the app
If you have uninstalled Calendify or cannot sign in, send an e-mail to privacy@calendify.ma from the address associated with your account, asking for your account to be deleted. No other step is required, and you do not need to reinstall the app.
2. What is deleted
- Your account and profile, including your name, e-mail address and phone number.
- Your upcoming appointments and queue tickets, which are cancelled.
- Your messages with healthcare professionals.
- The documents you uploaded to your medical record.
- The access you granted to healthcare professionals over your records.
3. What is kept, and why
Some data outlives the deletion request, either because the law requires it or because it belongs to someone else's records. These periods are the ones set out in section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
- Account data: kept for 30 days after closure, so the account can be reactivated, then deleted.
- Clinical records held by your doctor: the healthcare professional may be required to retain them longer, independently of Calendify. Deleting your Calendify account does not delete the practitioner's own records.
- Billing and invoices: kept for 10 years, as required by Moroccan accounting law.
- Backups: encrypted snapshots kept for 30 days for disaster recovery, then deleted.
- Analytics events: up to 24 months, in anonymized form, no longer linked to you.
4. How long it takes
We answer requests within 30 days, in line with section 13 of the Privacy Policy. Deletion of the data listed in section 2 above takes effect as soon as the request is processed; the retention periods in section 3 run from that moment.
